Ericsson says reporting NCGI of NR cells, using long DRX cycle.
But anyone have any idea, which IE UE will use to report an unknown gnb in NCGI measurement report?
Is it nr-CGI-Reporting-ENDC or eutra-CGI-Reporting-ENDC?
It’s nr-CGI-Reporting-ENDC.
But how CGI could be reported without SIB1?
This is unclear for me.
In NSA only MIB is broadcasted, no other SIB is broadcasted.
I mean for 5G.
ENB sets up EN-DC X2 connection by using X2 TNL address discovery procedure as per Ericsson.
Through S1 interface which includes the IP address of the reported NCGI (missing gnb).
All that eNodeB and serving gnodeB knows is a 5G PCI.
There can be several gNodeBs with same PCI.
Without SIB1 and CGI reporting it cannot setup an X2.
