36.133 specs having around 4k page so start it full of technical
Never ending technology if we start but no guarantee.
Nobody reads specs like a book.
You go there trying to find some stuff you need.
And almost never find it
May be IITian.
He may still can recite all theorems, equations how many of us can derive IFFT equation being telecom engineer.
Maybe Arun Sur?
No he don’t. Actually nobody is expected to recall every technical stuff.
But in operators technical decision making is most important thing.
And an experience person can handle it better.
Yes!
Hmmm…I met him once when I was in Jio.
1970 product vs 2008 product a lot difference.
Golden era of telecom upto 2007.
I’ll try to switch and become an youtube influencer.
Trying to convince people to learn Python and become great engineers!
I will follow you
If you have nothing else to do, try having a look at Seaborne.
Python, Seaborn.
Good to share links over python here if someone open to give training I’m looking to enroll.
Technically sound person is good only for his company.
Company knows the value of it and will retain him if he resigns but not much opportunities these days for RF.
Hmm… right…
Interesting topic. Too early to tell, but I foresee it’s going to happen in the long future. We’ve seen it happened during 2G and also 3G soon.
Perhaps we need to know when does the next generation mobile will start to achieve its limit? If there’s no limit, the legacy networks will always phase-out
If we look 10 years back than there were many OEM like Alcatel/lucent/nokia/siemens/ericsson/motorola/nortel and there were many opprotunities in telecomm for pure technical person like RF engineer/RF planning/drive test/NPI lead and for other specialized skill sets… now today telecomm landscape is completely changed…today there are more companies than wat was there before 10 year…like mavenir/intel/parallel wireless/hcl/ciena/samsung/ericsson/altiostar/ibm/cisco/commscope/airspan/nokia/tcs/techmahindra…and may be i am missing few. All these companies have s working on 5G …and recruting people… the only thing is required skill sets got changed with time…
Today RF+Machine learning exp is having advantage over pure RF Engineer.or.
RF+cloud exp/…so there are opportunity…but i think one should upgrade.with time…
All previous technologies be it 2g/3G/4G were individual customer centric technologies…but 5G is all about automation of industries…so requirement of manpower will be huge to provide right services to these industries as these will be main revenue for MNO.
Hi!!.. Can you please elaborate on RF+ML and RF+Cloud?
Hi Melvin
Its RF exp+Machine learning/data science exp
And RF exp+ exp in cloud computing.
Thanks
