Why SgNB is released for VoLTE call in ENDC?

Any technical reason?

To improve uplink.

With ENDC, UE power may get divided in LTE and NR leg reducing LTE uplink coverage and may cause packet loss / drop causing muting.

But as per 3GPP, it is not mandatory to release, right?

Any ratio in which UE is transmitting in LTE side and NR side?

I mean power ratio…

That can be dynamic and static also.

Based on configuration also.

It is a configurable feature, you can choose not to release also.

Technical reason is to improve 3 dB UE power for LTE side.
