When are the RRC Parameters for Beam Failure Detection sent in the RRC reconfiguration message?

We don’t know yet if beam failure triggers and scg failure.
There could be beam recovery process.
What are the next messages after beam failure?

In my case I have RLF only and not Beam failure.

Then you must seen SCF failure information message from UE to network.

This means beam failure is not configured by gNodeB.
Maybe not activated at OSS.

There is no beam failure in the log, as per @eta004 information.

Yes, that’s what I doubt, and my case is 1 single beam case in low band n71.

1 single beam?
Means you have classic antenna 4T4R and not AAU?

I mean my SSB id is 0 and no other indexes.

Is this a DSS log?
Because if it is, there is a high chance you have classic antena 4T4R and not AAU.

Yes, DSS is configured.

I have only seen a single beam id=0 on logs where 5G was radiating on classic antenna not on AAU.

But what I’ve seen is for scs15khz all over there is only1 beamid.

But if there is a single beam there’s no point for a beam recovery failure, there’s nothing to recover to.
When beam is failing it is expected UE would ctach up on another beam.

Maybe other can share their experience with beamid=0 only ie single beam.

Let me come back to my question:

I’ve checked in other reconfig messages, but cannot find this RFL monitoring config there.
I’ve checked in mmWave logs also, but no mention of this in rrcsetup and reconfig.

Well, if all logs are from DSS, why do you think it will be different?
beamid=0 only value is the source of missing beam failure info.

No, mmWave logs are old ones with no DSS.

If there is a single beam there’s no point for a beam recovery failure, there’s nothing to recover to.
When beam is failing it is expected UE would catch up on another beam.

mmWave we have 8 beams.

Ok, maybe beam failure in this case is not configured at OSS.

It’s not mandatory to configure.
