Users decreased after upgrade from 2T2R to 4T4R

I’m trying to understand why Coverage loss seen.
We always find with 4T4R coverage enhancement!

Because total RU power unchanged, No of Tx ports increased 2 times, so power per Tx reduced half → RS power reduced 3 db.

Can you check RRC attempt pre and post?
Even though you have reduced A2 by 3 dB it will be effective only of Same RRC attempt count is there.

If RRC attempt are reduced, you should change idle mode parameters like threshXLow, ThrehsServingLow, ThreshXHigh from other carriers to this carrier.

If CRS = 18.2dbm, Pa/Pb = -3,1, bw = 10Mhz → Tx port power = 20w, 2Tx = 40w total RU power.
If you want to increase to 4Tx, same power, it will be 20x4 = 80W total RU power.

Yes, I think we need to modify idle mode settings also.

qrxlevmin is only for cell selection and reselection, it cannot guarantee UE holding in idle or active mode.
