You know that SON solutions charge MNOs by cell.
So even if they have 200 degraded cells out of 20.000 MNOs will pay for 20.000 cells even if SON solves 200 degraded cells.
Network automation is given low priority, even management doesn’t favour it.
So it will keep human in safe zone.
I tell you a PCI SON module has more than 50 parameters.
SON modules are more complicated than the network itself.
But they produce good results with proper parameters and special training data.
CIO offset, PCI change, RSI change can be done manually as well, only Excel expertise needed.
