Wrong PCI definition lead to handover preparation failure or execution failure?

Dear Experts.

Wrong PCI definition of target cell in source cells NRT table will lead to handover preparation failure or execution failure?

ANR is not supported.

Preparation failure.

Ok.

But in case PCI is available in NRT but its mapped to wrong eNB ID, so it should be execution failure?

eNodeB goes and lookup PCI in NRT.

If it is not there then preparation failure.

It depends if you have reported PCI in NRT table or not.

Most of wrong PCI definition lead to handover preparation failure, but also execution failure.
For example: if wrong define external cells of target enb: cell A as pci2, cell B as pci 1, actually should be A as 1, B as 2.
HO preparation in target enb still success, but execution will fail.
