Will high UL RSSI cause VoLTE mute call or will it just cause VoLTE call drop?

Both can happen.
If more than 15 seconds it will be drop.
If less than 15 seconds just one way mute call.

15 seconds.
A call cannot be muted for 15 msec of interference.

400 ms packet drop we usually consider as mute call.
But 15s is too long. Any reference?

I was saying due to RTP timer.
Drop call on mute call due to RTP live timer.

It all depends on what is an acceptable mute for your MNO call and how MOS is affected
Many vendors have counters now for VoLTE samples
Excellent, good, bad, very bad, etc.
Lots of them.

No need to drive test anymore to understand which cells have trouble with VoLTE quality.
I mean, you can have degradation even without mute call.
