Why 240 kHz SCS is only used for SSB?

Hello Experts.

Why 240 kHz SCS is only used for SSB and why 60 kHz is not used for SSB?

Here is my take.

Higher the SCS → Higher the the BW for SSB and lower the symbol time/ SSB duration.
Lower the SCS → lower the the BW for SSB and higher the symbol time/ SSB duration.

60KHz SCS consumes higher BW in FR1 compare to total BW, and it takes too much time duration in FR2. Hence 60Khz SCS is not used for SSB as per standard.

240KHz SSB SCS is generally used for faster beam sweeping. But data do not required to have such smaller symbol duration. hence 240 KHz SCS is not used for data.

This is what I understand, others keep adding …

For 240 kHz for data I think that since subcarrier count is very high, there could be limitation at hardware end for FFT.

Yes 240 kHz is used for faster beam sweeping and data dont require such small durations.
