Which Huawei Core Timers or Features Can Improve KPIs Without Impacting RAN/Core Performance?

I would like to ask if there are Huawei Core Network parameters, timers, or feature switches that can be tuned to improve user experience KPIs and service performance, while not negatively impacting other KPIs or services in the core or radio network.

I am interested in practical optimization examples in Huawei Core domains such as:

  • CS Core

  • PS Core / EPC

  • IMS

  • UDM / HSS

Examples of parameters or areas I am thinking about include:

Mobility & Attach / Registration

  • T3412 (Periodic TAU timer)

  • T3402 (Backoff timer)

Paging & Idle Mode

without negatively impacting RAN signaling load, core signaling load, or other services.
