Are the eplmn list and eplmn that can be derived from TAI list in LTE/NR the same?

EPLMN derived from TAI list can be equal to or subset of the list in USIM.

As I understand eplmn list is sent by NW in registration accept and it is not stored in the usim.

Is there any cases, where equivalent plmn is just restricted to eplmns derived from tai list of the registration area?

Sorry I made a mistake. EHPLMN list is stored in USIM, while EPLMN can be derived from TAI list. UE will maintain the EPLMN list when it receives location registration response.
