What mechanism does the vendor use to aggregate NEs or NFs into a single product?

For example, can we aggregate GGSN and SGSN or MME into one product?

The process of assembling NFs, NEs is based on the function of NEs, NFs, that is, you can aggregate all NEs that perform the same function into one product.

For example, SGSN (3G), MME (4G), AMF (5G) have the same roles in mobility management proccess like attach, detach, updating location etc.

So vendors can bundle all of the above into one product like Nokia CMM product and Huawei UNC product.

Another example is assembling PGW and GGSN into one product as they both have the same roles in session management and almost identical interfaces to other nodes.

The main advantage of this clustering is the reduction of interfaces between nodes
