What is the role of gNodeB in terms of Network Slicing?
Does it help for another AMF selection?
Role of gNB is quite exhaustive ranging from AMF selection, to even Slice access grouping.
The sync between AMF & RAN is during NG setup probably and is tracked at RNA/TAC level at RAN & PLMN/RA level at AMF.
With many more changes incoming in Rel17 & 18.
