What is the relation between PCO and Rank Indicator in LTE?

Hi Experts,
What is the relation between PCO and Rank Indicator in LTE?
I’m seeing when PCO is True, UE reporting RI = 1 instead of 2.
When PCO is False in LTE cell, UE reports RI = 2.

This PCO I think have link with PDN connectivity request.
(Protocol Configuration Option).
