What is the different in Number of 2G, 3G,4G Subscribers in VLR between HSS and MSS?

and what is the number will take as real number of subscriber in Network? is it will take hourly stats for daily and will take max of it?

Hi Experts.

During our routine study of HLR, it is observed that the total number of active subscribers for 2G and 3G exceeded 2M during the period of past three months as compared for other months.

Why this discrepancy and differences happened?

But overall 2G, 3G, 4G and 5G, do you get same numbers?

Should be same numbers +/- 2%

Is there any change on LTE attach success rate and VoLTE Call Setup and Initial Reg success rate KPIs?

The CSFB needs to be checked if the attempts are increased.

Check for all redirections.

Also: check if there’s any duplication in the counts. Sometimes, the IMSIs count has some issues.

Check the roaming number of subscribers and the number in VLR (s) and number of attach/detach requests.
