When the traffic enter the WR , it can be directed flexibily to any direction

It can contain WSS ( wavelength selective switch )

WSS responsible for traffic routing

WR can be controlled by software remotely

It contain add ports n, drop ports and THRU ports for passing through traffic for aggregated channels
