Weird Spectrum Analyzer output

Hello Experts!

I tested RRU which support LTE 1800 + 2100 MHz.

Spectrum mask for 20 MHz.

And I got very interesting picture for 2100 MHz.

There is something at the right side from main band.

UE is in connected mode and download data from BS.

UE located in special eco box (radio isolated).

R&S equipment is connected to 1 RF port between RRU antenna and RRU RF port.

Feeders are used. P.S. for 1800MHz band - everything is ok.

It seems to be some interference.

Besides the noise floor at the right side of spectrum I noticed the irregularity at both side ramps.

This is an indicatin of bad C/I.

Hello! Thank you for your reply!

There is no external interference as UE in special box (RF isolated) and all power is provided by RF feeder.

Could it be bad RF output filters performance?

Distorcion - by concept it is the undesired signal caused by the system itself.

Maybe you should investigate if eNB is ok.

Or bad power amp.

Going out of linearity.

Have you tried to power down?

Unfortunately not so many info…

The irregularity at the carrier ramps are better here.

Not perfect as we would expect for eNB output, but better.

I guess

Definitely it’s not the expected output. If you checking this in the lab, please make sure all the cable connection are tightened properly and if you using the attention, check those also.
