Nice video from a friend, showing use of QGIS to estimate Site Coverage Areas.

Sometimes while analyzing crowdsourcing data or drive test data, we need some rough estimation of the Site locations even when we dont have the site database. (like analyzing a competitive drive test). Simple processing via QGIS may help in such a case which is shown in this video example.

Is there a method to determine the best location for deploying a new site to achieve a specific coverage target?

You should use planning tools like Atoll, Mentum Planet, Asset, and ATDI to run a coverage prediction and determine whether your target area is adequately covered.
