Sharing traffic between different beams on a tri-beam antenna

Hi Experts.

Can any one suggest which parameter can help sharing traffic between different beams on a tri-beam antenna?

Iin Ericsson system.

For traffic sharing you can try inter / intra freq load balancing.

Thanks…

But I am looking for sharing traffic between 3 beams on a tri-beam antenna.

My 1 beam is picking a lot of traffic although other 2 beams are picking less than half.

Same antenna or same layer?

Same layer.

I have a tri-beam antenna, out of those 3 beams 1 beam is picking high no of users although other 2 beams are picking very less users.

I want to share users load between all 3 layers.

So I am expecting some CIO sort of LB.

Not sure exactly what can help here.

Antenna is tri-beam or penta-beam so generally same antenna but multiple RRU’s.

If you are saying in a single antenna (tri beam), all three beams are of the same layer having high traffic, cannot serve in the same direction (azimuth).

So in this case you have share traffic of that layer (beam) on target (neighbor) beam.

And if the antenna having 3 layers with 3 beams (single beam each layer) in the same direction then you have to check TA index of all layers and number of active users, check high samples area and compare with other layers then open tilt of low traffic layer (beam) coverage and reduce high traffic layer(beam) coverage samples.

Which one are you saying confirm?

It’s all on the same plane.
