SCS doesn’t change overall spectral efficiency — it changes how you tune latency / throughput per RB or users.

Low SCS (15 kHz)

  • Band → 700 MHz | Low Band
  • RBs → More
  • Users → More users scheduled
  • Single User Throughput → Low
  • Latency → High
  • Use Case → Coverage

Mid SCS (30 kHz)

  • Band → 3.5 GHz | C-Band
  • RBs → Medium
  • Users → Balanced
  • Single User Throughput → Good
  • Latency → Medium
  • Use Case → Throughput

High SCS (120 kHz)

  • Band → 25 GHz | mmWave
  • RBs → Few
  • Users → Less
  • Single User Throughput → Very High
  • Latency → Ultra Low
  • Use Case → Latency
