Hello Experts (QXDM tool),

Any commercial mobile phone from market can be connected with QXDM tool or we need to do root access of the device before connecting?

It is different as per OEM.

Well, the only phones that have a Qualcomm chipset can connect to QXDM. You know, some phones already allow QXDM to connect, so no root is needed. But mostly commercial phones hide the “DIAG port” that QXDM needs. For those, what you need to do is root the phone or use a special engineering version that has DIAG enabled.
