According to 3GPP on WCDMA, network sends information regarding cpich power toward UE. SIB5/SIB6 Parameter name is: primaryCPICH-TX-Power. I am trying to decode this information in drive test (With Tems investigation). Unfortunately I can’t get it. I am using Samsung S20, Than I did trace and RNC/NodeB doesn’t transmitted this information. Than I did Cell trace and As i see for particular UEs this information is transmitted. what could be a reason?
I checked with Vendors, it is UE related specification, for Samsung it’s coded and that’s why we cant see it. For example for Iphone it’s visible. Now I have to find how to decode it.
