What is the possible optimization steps for further discussion of below 3G LACs to improve Paging in CS Core?

LAC2 88.66

Vendor is Huawei.

Hi,

Consider studying the paging attempts per LAC.

Check if the boarders have high traffic areas (markest/…)

Consider checking the DX timers and paging timers.

Most of the issues come from many paging attempts, studying this will make it clear for LAC split / merge.

Activation and configure URA areas can reduce paging load if it is not activated yet.

Check frequent RAT ping-pongs, check frequent LAC ping-pongs 88% is really bad

But how many pagings you have at Core side?

There should be 3 of them: first per LAC, second per MSC and third per network.

So like this you can be sure UE will answer paging.

There is also the option that there is lot of area without coverage.
