NGAP and 5G NAS message in N1 N2 transfer encrypted?

Hi tribe members,
The NAS and NGAP message carried over “N1N2MessageTransfer” will it be encrypted? Since the encryption happens from AMF to RAN this message is plain NAS/NGAP encoded?

All such links are IPSec as standard. So yes they are encrypted. However this is down to network design byt the network operator or vendor.

Agree for IPSec, Referring the payload of the HTTP itself in context here.

vnd.3gpp.5gnas Binary encoded payload, encoding a 5GS NAS message, as specified in 3GPP TS 24.501 [11].
Ref: 29.518 Section 6.1.2.2.2

I think NEA0 is not encrypted.

Thanks for the pointer.
