MU-MIMO maximum number of layers for one UE

I still don’t understand what PDSCH beams has to do with SSB beams in Nokia’s view.
Nokia has 20 beams location for PDSCH.

Each coverage of the 20 beams is different from SSB beam.

All mix here

These are sector beams.
To cover control and broadcast channel.

Right, the GoB.

Hold on, SSB in FR1 can be either 4 or 8 it cannot be 20.
To cover whole sector.

These are 32 ssb beams valid for analog beamforming, what I mentioned.

Analog beamforming is for mmWave.

YEs, in diagram no where mentioned digital beamforming.

Yes that is also true but on this pic they are talking about sector beam.

Those sector beams, 20, are not the pdsch beams?

For NR UE will measure CSI-RS signal to report csi.
In LTE we seen with mMIMO concept of sector and UE beam.
Not sure for NR we have terminology like sector beam.

What do you understand by CSI? It is RI, PMI and CQI?
PMI is the one that gives the weight for the beam.
And this PMI is not based on csi-rs beams.

Sector beam holds for crs signal in LTE listen by all UEs.
Do we seen sector beam term with NR?

So you admit you have 4 or 8 SSBs in FR1, and 20 sector beams for PDSCH?
And you call this beam-refinement?

PDSCH beam means is it separate beam then csi rs and ssb?

As per Huawei it is not.

Not sure as I never seen sector beam term in NR.
Maybe I’m wrong, sorry.

So same beam is used for PDCCH, PDSCH or CSI_RS beam.
Huawei can use up to 4 PDCCH layers in the same time.

This is as per 3gpp limit for FR1 and fr2 ssb transmission.
Now this PDSCH beams are csi rs beam that what my understanding is.

Which layers and where these layer transmitted on which beam?

It is for MU-MIMO pdcch simultaneous transmission of up to 4 pdcch layers.
To increase capacity.

1 ssb - 4 csi rs how many PDSCH beam on this configuration possible?
