More than 100% handover overhead (SHO)

Dears,
In 3G I’m getting more than 100% handover overhead.
Do you have any explanation?

Vendor is Huawei
This is the equation:
Soft Handover Overhead (Cell) =
[ ( VS.SHO.AS.1RL +
VS.SHO.AS.2RL +
VS.SHO.AS.3RL +
VS.SHO.AS.4RL +
VS.SHO.AS.5RL +
VS.SHO.AS.6RL ) /
(VS.SHO.AS.1RL +
VS.SHO.AS.2RL/2 +
VS.SHO.AS.3RL/3 +
VS.SHO.AS.4RL/4 +
VS.SHO.AS.5RL/5 +
VS.SHO.AS.6RL/6) -1 ] x 100%

Yes its possible.
0% means no SHO area.
100% means all UE have 2 serving in AS.
More than 100% means that UE will have 3 or more serving cell in AS.

I think your KPI formula of Soft HO Overhead is not correct, please check it again.
It seems Num always higher Den.

It’s from HEDEX.
Do have any updates?

The formula is correct and it’s same for Nokia (except the fact that counters for NRT and RT services are separate in Nokia) as well.
We do get SHO overhead higher than 100% and probably those are the ones with maximum overlaps and needs optimization.

@Vishal_Thakkar, please share the counter/ formula in Nokia.
