LTE maximum MIMO layers in Uplink

Yes. I mean, at most of cases, uplink256 QAM and 2CA is maximum features that exist for Uplink.

:+1:
Anyone having Huawei UE logs can check further.

Do you mean P40 PRO UE logs?

Huawei Mate P40.

It depends on your capability and network configuration about MIMO.
So if it supports 4x4 MIMO then 4 layers can be configured.

Thinks specs allow 1024QAM as well.

It should be for NR.

In LTE as well… Optus Australia using it.

Oh, but which phone can support?
Even 512 for Uplink at LTE is far.

Cat 18 devices.

Additional:

  • NSA: Practical 1 only, as 1 tx for LTE and 1 tx for NSA
  • SA: Can be 2 but depends on UE capabilities

Hello all.

What is the maximum MIMO configuration supported by LTE FDD band in LTE-Advanced?

Per Release 10 3GPP standard it is 8 layers.

It depends if single panel or multipanel.
