LTE Connectivity Control Between FDD and TDD for Specific SPID Profiles for Huawei eRan

Hello everyone,

We are currently working with a CPE that supports both LTE FDD and TDD bands, as well as NSA Dual Connectivity (DC).

To differentiate user profiles, we have configured two SPIDs:

SPID 10: for NSA DC users

SPID 15: for LTE TDD-only users

The challenge we’re facing is that CPEs with SPID 15 sometimes attach to the LTE FDD layer, and once attached, they don’t switch to TDD, which is not the desired behavior.

We considered using inter-frequency relations between FDD and TDD, but this approach allows mobile users to access TDD bands — which would violate our client strategy.

Our objective is to restrict SPID 15 users to connect only to LTE TDD while keeping mobile users unaffected.

Has anyone faced a similar scenario or found a clean way to enforce such SPID-based access control without modifying inter-frequency relations?

Any insight on parameter configurations or alternative solutions would be highly appreciated.

Thank you in advance.

You have any device management solution to lock CPE on TDD frequency .

Yes we do have access to band lock . The client wants network configuration without touching the cpe configuration
