We are experiencing high 3G RRC degradation during any events whereas no degradation in 4G KPIs.
we see high pegging in rrc load control counters, question is why do we see sudden increase in 3G users when we have 4 carriers with sufficient capacity in 4G ? Is this due to any threshold settings or because of the channel quality degradation ? We don’t think we have huge amount of R99 devices trying to access the network and suspect the LTE users are pushed to access the 3G network which causing the issue. this is happening in Ericsson vendor nodes.
Please provide any suggestions to isolate and fix these issues.
