Is there any significance of CORESET0-Search Space 0 in NSA?

Hi Experts,

Is there any significance of CORESET0-Search Space 0 in NSA?

Admin note: this post was updated with image below.

CORESET might be either common or dedicated
CORESET0 is specific use case of Common Coreset, where SIB 1 message is broadcasted.

Each searchSpace doesn’t matter if common or UE specific … has a group/multiple of uEs that just belong to same Aggregation Level … right?

means different uEs with different aggregation levels will be belonged to different searchSpaces.

Hello Experts.

Is CORESET#0 mandatory for NSA?

If not, so how UE knows position for Common_search space location?

Of course mandatory.

Thanks, but how after disable SIB1 in NSA, 5G NSA cell is working normally?

Because whole information from SIB1 comes in RRC reconfiguration to setup the NR NSA.

Check this: 5G_CommonSearchSpace_Type0_PDCCH

That is in pdcch_configSIB1 in MIB 5G

SIB1 is not mandatory in NSA, mandatory info is sent by RRC reconfig.

SIB1 used for ANR in NSA.
