Is RRC resume procedure mandatory in same base station?

Hi All.

For UE in RRC inactive state for coming back to RRC connected state.

Will it use RRC resume procedure?

Is it mandatory?

What i see it’s used for UE context transfer from serving to new base station only.

What happens if base station don’t change?

For same base station also RRC resume procedure will be used.

Because UE is released with suspend config.
