Hi All,
In what different scenarios attach reject is received from network end?
In case of PUCCH resources congestion or admission control, will network send rrc connection reject or attach reject?

5GC has the ability to reject new connections, tear down ongoing data sessions or throttling Throughput upon congestion.

Thanks. My query is for LTE where attach reject received with reason congestion.
I need to understand what this congestion indicates in Core, as attach reject is NAS message.

Do they have a configured TPS value on MME?
Some planners configure maximum TPS value on NAS messages as a storm prevention mechanism. That’s why I’m asking.

Attach reject is sent by core- network to UE, not due to radio problem.
It’s often due to failure in: ciphering/ IMSI verification/ wrong TAC-LAC/ authentication …
