In what case 2G_1800 all sectors down and recover by it self?

Hello everyone,

Can anyone help me with the below issue?

Equipment vendor: Ericsson

Technology: - 2G
It uses 1 SFP (Optical fiber) and 1 DUG for 3 sectors.

Problem: Sometimes the sectors down for a few minutes and then recovers on its own. But, Everyday cell availability is 95%. The down time and day is different.

The method we used to solve the problem:-

  • SFP changed (on both sides)
  • Optical fiber is new.
  • IDB has been fixed
  • All cables are properly arranged.

==> Still the problem is not solved. Can anyone help me?

Hi, @Haile123, check the connection between BSC and BS. Check alarms/alarm log on BSC and TCU.
