Hi Experts.

In LTE, how the UE will know whether the cell selection / reselection is based on RSRP or RSRQ?

On LTE release 8, using RSRP for selection and reselection.

After that release RSRQ also for selection and reseletion.

UE gets system block info for getting selection and reselection parameters.

But I can’t see any parameter in .SIB to indicate whether it is RSRP or RSRQ based

If there’s no s-IntraSearchQ or s-NonIntraSearchQ in SIB3 then reselection only follow RSRP rules.
