Hello experts,
I received a customer complaint about silent calls, and I attempted a test by using number A to call the number that complained, hoping to catch the silent call. However, I made nearly 200 calls but didn’t receive a single error. Could the experts advise me on how to perform the test in this case?
Thank you very much!
Which network A party and B party was in during mute call and test call.example Both 3G both voLTE etc.?

The number A is in 3G and the number B is in LTE
ok .the mute call is it going on forever or after like 10 seconds it is getting disconnected? In anyways first check the routing of Media IPs of MGWs specially the once configured more recently and check the UE IP to media IP mapping is in place this one usually configured in SBG or PCSCF.I am suspecting either one or two IPs RTP IPs are not routed correctly. So RTP IPs are residing on MGW/BGF which is getting allocated during the dedicated bearer establishment.it should be reachable to anchoring PGW and to the UE IP.Other wise there wont be any media so call will be mute.Normally there is a parameter in IMS nodes named Media Supervision usually this parameter is active and set for a value below 10 seconds.Which means if any call is going on mute for more than 10 seconds it will be automatically disconnected so check if this parameter is set if not .My suggestion is to set it since mute calls wont drag on for two long.Routing audit is the main thing here so do it asap.Thank you.
