How to disable complete data traffic on 3G Networks?

Is it possible to completely disable data traffic?

If so, please suggest how. While it’s possible to disable HSDPA and HSUPA traffic, R99 traffic cannot be disabled on Nokia equipment.

We have the option to disable PS services in Huawei while allowing CS services to run smoothly, though I’m not sure about Nokia.

Yes and No. Yes if you can block codes based on spreading factor (SF), block the r99 ps services codes.

Normally voice is placed on SF=256, 128 and 32.

Block the rest.

Actually it is very simple.3G network is CS based Core network therefore first thing UE will do when exposed to 3G radio is to do a CS attach.Then after capability exchange.UE will do a PDP context activation using the configured DATA APN.so if you want to Disable data in entire network either you inhibit the data APN globally to all subs or suspend or block data APN on SGSN so no bearer will get established.
