What is the mechanism to control phases of different antenna elements in phased array in analog beamforming?
Does it also includes some overhead signalling?
I think phase shifter do this job.
For overhead never find same.
For FR2 analog beamforming used.
How those phase shifters are controlled, any idea?
FR2 also uses precoding, isn’t it?
Yes precoding used as concept is same to use precoding not specified by 3gpp. It’s vendor specific.
