For this example it’s Huawei, type of shelf is OSN, model is OSN 1800 (18 v refer to 1800v).

Shelf name on NMS, in the example NEC is the name of the shelf, of course you can change it from NMS.

NMS is network mangment system and it’s the tool where we can manage and configure the WDM system.

NMS in Huawei was u2000 and now it’s NCE ( network cloud engine).

OBU is the amplifier boards, optical booster unit.

F2 and F5 is the version of the board.

TOA is the client card that receive the signal from client devices and perform OTN framing ( tributary ) 8 client signals to any rate.
