How is carrier aggregation different than multiple trp?

In carrier aggregation single base station (eNB or gNB) is involved, carrier aggregation with two base stations is called dual connectivity.

In Multi-trp concept we transmit same data to two base stations or Uplink to one base station and Downlink to other one.

Multi trp (multiple transmission and reception points) concept is like a CoMP concept in LTE.
