How does UE Access NR in SA and NSA?

Why can’t a UE in Standalone (SA) mode access the high band directly?

Do you have logs?

It’s possible that the operator isn’t allowing 5G SA in high bands or isn’t broadcasting SIB1.

UEs typically search from low to high frequencies.

If a low-frequency band is found and meets the requirements, the UE will camp on the low frequency first.

Who claims that?

We have mid-band (3.5 GHz) and low bands (2.1/700 MHz). It depends on the camping strategy.

If you enable the idle mode CA awareness feature, the UE may reselect to the low FDD layer first.
