How can we check if antenna is radiating beyone the planned maximum PRACH cell range?

How can we check if antenna is radiating beyone the planned maximum PRACH cell range?

I mean like:

  • UE does not transmit MSG1
  • BTS does not receive MSG1
  • BTS does not transmit MSG2
  • UE does not transmit MSG3

I think if the BTS does not receive MSG1.

I think none of them.

Even though UE is outside max cell range defined by rach parameters, it can send MSG1.

But possibility is BTS can detect wrong preamble sequence and hence while sending MSG2, BTS gives different RAPID.
Hence there is no MSG2 for UE.

In this case even though BTS Transmits MSG2.

UE will not be able to decode it so UE will not send MSG3.

Yes.
I said none because “UE not send MSG3” is incomplete explanation…

This option for me: UE will not send MSG3.

Indeed this is true, but UE not sending MSG3 cause it has not received desired MSG2.
