Need to understand how commercially NZP and IM are utilized.

Vendor specifics are in CPI/ALEX (Ericsson) and NOLS (Nokia) — not public. The mechanism itself is 3GPP: TS 38.331 (TCI-State, NZP-CSI-RS-Resource, CSI-IM-Resource, CSI-ResourceConfig IEs) and TS 38.214 §5.1.6.1 / §5.2.
A TCI state carries QCL info pointing at a source RS (SSB or NZP CSI-RS) — TypeD is the beam. CSI-ResourceConfig pairs an NZP set (channel) with a CSI-IM set (interference); UE derives CQI/PMI/RI from both.
