For LTE, in what condition will the UE send GUTI in MSG5?

Its means there has been earlier attach in past and information was stored with IMSI…Now at the time of new attach and in case MME has changed then in that case new MME will require GUTI information for reading the old MME information inorder to know its IMSI by sending Identification request.

GUTI is temporarily assigned and can be changed during new TAU process as well…GUTI is assigned by MME and it contains the MMEI which shows which MME has assigned GUTI along with M-TMSI.
