For inter freq / inter rat Handover in NR SA, do we require measurements gap?

Or is it possible without gap as well?

In NR, inter freq or inter RAT measurement always need mgap.

Only cases when UE support per-FR measurement gap and inter frequency nbr is from fr2 and serving cell is FR1 (or opposite) then only mgap is not required.

Although the measurement gap must be entered, certain UE can still measure some frequencies without doing so.

There is a Huawei option to get around this UE feature, but there are no direct parameters in Ericsson to turn it OFF.
