I’m currently working on a Nokia AirScale ASIB (AirScale Common Plug-in Unit) and I need to access the serial/console interface for troubleshooting/local management.
I know these modules usually rely on the LMP (Local Management Port) via an RJ-45 Ethernet cable using the default IP 192.168.255.126 for SSH/Web access.
However, I am looking for the actual hardware Console/Serial port connection specs.
- Is there a specific proprietary pinout on the RJ-45 LMP port that forwards RS-232/Serial signals (like a Cisco rollover cable pinout)?
- Or is there a hidden/internal serial header on the board that requires a USB-to-TTL adapter?
- If anyone has the exact baud rate settings (e.g., 115200 8N1) and pinout for a direct console connection to the ASIB bootloader/kernel, that would be amazing.
Any documentation, pinout diagrams, or tips from anyone who has successfully unbricked or consoled into an ASIB board would be greatly appreciated!
