Example of RI/CQI/PMI report from UE in 5G

But this network only have 1 SSB transmission.
So how 8 CSI-RS beam (If they are 8) are mapped to 1 SSB?

Like I said, I don’t know if there are 8 csi-rs beams.
I know that there are 8 csi-rs ports and reference signals.

How you cover the whole sector with 1 SSB only? Must be weak coverage.
But then how many pdsch beams (sector beams) you have for this one SSB?

Yes it’s too weak. It is 14 dB less than typical 2100M coverage.
2100M LTE coverage.

I want to get answer to this question

I highlighted in yellow the csi-rs ports:

Welcome to the club, we all have unanswered questions.

How many port CSI-RS here?

In any case your SSB is beamformed from 8 signals because you hace csi-rs ports.

I think you cannot say from this picture alone.

This picture write 1port CSI-RS.
I think each color is 1 port.
Also 1 beam.
Each color is 1port CSI-RS, density = 3.
And periodicity of this 1port CSI-RS = 20ms = 160slot

I think we should focus on real measurements from logs not on pictures from powerpoints.
RRC messages in logs cannot be wrong.

I have also seen in other docs that there are 4 csi-rs beams per each SSB:

Beam refinement are 1-port or 2-port CSI.

Each csi-rs reference signal, not csi-rs beam.
Let’s start with simple things first: how do you recognize in a log that csi-rs beams are enabled or not?
I mean UE log.

I think each CSI-RS signal in this case is 1 beam.

How do you recognize this in UE logs?
We see indeed 4 csi-rs ports.
Each one having a different resource id.
So 4 csi-rs resources are for csi-rs beams (each one with a single port) and one csi-rs resoruce with 8 csi-rs ports (for csi-rs reference signals).

This seems ok for me.
I have this configuration in UE logs.
So the csi-rs with 8 ports is with csi-rs reference signals that UE uses to constitute the PMI matrix.
And the other 4 csi-rs ports are for 4 csi-rs beams.
csi-rs beams are beamformed.
Where are csi-rs reference signals are nto beamformed( are sent from a single csi-rs port each).

But then what about trs-Info = true?
What does it signify?

That is tracking reference signals…indeed…I forgot about that one.

Looks like my case is also the same.

So 4 + 1 resource Ids.

Yes. Resource ID 0 with 8 port, and 1, 2, 3 are with 1 port.

But is TRS same with beam management?

What about this then?
