Did you configure for SCell release using A2 threshold?
Yes, I want to do SCell release after A2.
How did you configure it? Which system?
In our network (samsung system), we can set purpose of A2 threshold when its configure as “SCell release” that A2 event is configured of Scells MO for scell reelase.
A2 used for inter freq /inter RAT triggering.
A2 used for redirection as well toward LTE/UTRAN.
How is it linked with SCell?
A2 is conmonly used for serving cell.
If SCell is added, its one of serving cell for UE.
Other wise how UE can release poor RSRP SCell and add new one with different eARFCN?
How other vendors do that?
Huawei has scca2rmvswitch for scc removal.
This is ON/OFF parameter or some threshold?
Switch and thresholda2 for CA.
Right, so Huawei does it same like Samsung.
But I had worked on Adaptive CA.
For group base CA need to check whether it works the same.
What is Adaptive and Group Based?
Maybe I know it, but terminology is different…
Adaptive is frequency based where group based it is disabled and grouping of cells is defined.
