The main difference between enterprise open source and open source in general is support and services.
For example, you can use an open source software in your company. But you are responsible for everything.
When you find a bug in the software, who you’re gonna call?
When the version you’re using is not updated, who you’re gonna call?
If you find a security flaw, who you’re gonna call?
That’s the big difference from trying to get it all for free, or hiring a company to develop it for you.
