The main procedures are registration request, authentication check, retrieval of user data, policy data, and registration accept.
AMF, AUSF, UDM, and PCF work together to complete the initial registration.
Initial Registration Request: When a new user accesses the 5G network for the first time, they must register for access permission
Authentication Check: AMF sends user information to AUSF and UDM for authentication. UDM instructs AUSF and AMF to authenticate the user. Bidirectional authentication is performed between the user and the network.
UE Subscription Data & Policy Data: After authentication, AMF retrieves subscription data from UDM and policy data from PCF. AMF will allocate network resources to the user based on their subscription
Registration Accept: AMF notifies the user that the registration is complete, allowing access to the 5G network.
