Hello Huawei Telecom Experts.

Did anyone activated the (MBFCS) feature (Multi-Band Fast Carrier Selection) in dual band LTE NW?

Did it improve the throughput?

Yes it’s recommended for multiple layers.

Though your inter frequency attempts will be increased and call drop may also.

UE will be in gab measurements more.

But one more question: will the throughput noticeably increased when activating this feature or just a slight improvement?

Yes it improves throughput.

Depending on number of carriers, loading, spectral efficiency.

You should get at least 2~10% gain.
